Jormuu

“Our shoulders carry the mountains, the mountains carry us.”

Overview

The Jormuu Nation inhabits the Fjordlands. A land of frost-bitten mountains, frozen coastlines, roaring seas, and endless winter storms in the north east of the Forsaken Lands. The Jormuun answer the call of the Horn beneath the green banner of the neverending serpent, enduring a world where death waits beyond every snowfall and frozen horizon.

High stone halls stand against bitter winds whilst scattered settlements cling to mountainsides and icy shores. Life within the Fjordlands is harsh, and the Jormuun are shaped by that hardship from birth. Strength, endurance, and loyalty are valued above comfort, for weakness rarely survives long beneath the shadow of the Bleed.

To outsiders, the Jormuun may appear stern or aggressive, but beneath their hardened exterior lies incredible resilience and purpose. They stand beside kin without hesitation, face hardship head on, and believe that enduring the storm is the truest measure of strength.

Jormuun clothing is designed for warmth, durability, and survival within the brutal climate of the Fjordlands. Heavy furs, layered wool, thick leather, weatherproof cloaks, and practical travelling garments are common throughout the nation.

Muted tones inspired by stone, sea, forest, and winter dominate their appearance, often accented with deep greens, dark blues, bone whites, iron greys, and crimson details.
